Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a library in Corvallis, Oregon. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a library.
Conceptual plans call for the renovation of the main library branch. There are four possible renovation options. All four options recommend demolishing the Fenner Building, a building recently purchased by the library that is adjacent to the current facility, possibly replacing it with an outdoor courtyard or construct an addition to the library in its place. Per the owner, as of November 29, 2022, funds are not yet in place for this project. The owner states that they hope to have the project shovel-ready by July 2025. The owner states that they will not likely go out to bid for a design team and general contractor until the next fiscal year.
