Site work and new construction of a medical facility in Surrey, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the construction of a 764,000-square-foot, 11-story above grade, 730-space medical facility; medical facility; and for site work for a medical facility.
New Surrey Hospital and Cancer Centre Project. The project is the design and construction of a fully integrated hospital and cancer centre, approximately 70,000 building gross square metres. Key scope components include increased capacity for inpatient, outpatient, surgical, emergency, diagnostics, pharmacy, virtual health, cancer care services, and a new childcare centre. Parking: approximately 730 stalls are to be provided with approximately 50% to be located below grade. The Project scope also include a new childcare centre, intended to be a separate stand-alone building on the site. TIMELINE: Design/build contract has been awarded. Groundbreaking has occurred. Construction completion is anticipated in 2029. *The total cost of the project is anticipated to be $2.88 billion.
