A southbound right turn lane will also be added along 76th Ave. W to further enhance intersection LOS. Additional improvements include wider sidewalk, bike lanes within the intersection, pavement, street lighting, signing and striping, utility upgrades (including water and stormwater upgrades / along with potential conversion of overhead utility lines to underground). The anticipated scope of work for the consultant consists of the following services: 1. Perform survey work; 2. Complete design and prepare final plans, specifications and estimates; 3. Comply with WSDOT Local Agency Guidelines for federal-aid projects; 4. Prepare required technical reports (geotechnical, storm drainage, etc.); 5. Prepare environmental documentation and secure required permits; 6. Complete right of way acquisition; 7. Assist with public meetings and Council meetings; 8. Assist City with bid phase. 9. Provide assistance during the construction phase. The City reserves the right to change the qualifications schedule or issue amendments to the RFQ at any time. The City reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to waive material irregularities contained in the SOQs. The City reserves the right to reject any and all SOQs at any time, without penalty.
