Site work and new construction of a pre-engineered storage facility in Fruitland, New Mexico. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a 1,200-square-foot pre-engineered storage facility.
To plan, design, construct and equip a 1st response building in San Juan Chapter. The building will be a 1,200 square ft, pre-engineered manufactured building on a cement foundation. The infrastructure will include the powerline, waterline and waste water system. The length and location of the infrastructure will depend on the planning and design phase of the project and the placement of the building. The project will be done in 2 phases with the Planning & Design as the 1st phase. The phase will also include the acquisition of a land withdrawal, archaeological and environmental studies, The construction and equip the building and infrastructure will be the 2nd phase. The planning & design will take 8 months and construction 1 year. The building will serve as a fire and police substation. San Juan Chapter will own and maintain the building, the chapter will work with San Juan County to operate the project and the Navajo Nation will be the fiscal agent. The project is included in the city's 2022-2026 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of January 26, 2022, further details regarding design and construction have not been identified.* *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
