Demolition for a municipal facility in Twin Lakes, New Mexico. Conceptual plans call for the demolition of a municipal facility.
To plan, and demolish the Old Bahastl'ah (Twin Lakes) Chapter House, Bahastl'ah (Twin Lakes), New Mexico, in McKinley County. The archaeological studies have been completed. Phase 1 will include the demolition plans including environmental studies. Phase 2 will include the demolition of the building. The chapter will work with Office Environmental Health and with the Capital Projects Management Department in completing this project. Bahastl'ah (Twin Lakes) Chapter will own land after demolition. The Navajo Nation will be the fiscal agent. Bahastl'ah (Twin Lakes) Chapter will own, operate and maintain the building. The project is included in the city's 2023-2027 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of January 27, 2022, further details regarding design and construction have not been identified.* *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
