Appendices, A.) at Clemson University's Edisto Research and Education Center 64 research Rd Blackville, SC 29817. A. Lot A Resurface & Repair 1. Successful offeror will remove broken, damaged asphalt and repair potholes, soft spots, etc. 2. Offerors will repair damaged areas in such a way that water will encourage optimal water drainage. B. Lot B Complete Removal and Repave 1. Remove all existing road from project site. 2. Replace road with 20'wide x 800' long paved surface 3. Include 4" stone subgrade and 2" of asphalt. 4. Successful offer or will provide all traffic control throughout the project to include signing and flagmen. 5. The successful offeror will demolish and remove existing road surface. Debris will be disposed of off-site. 6. Successful offeror will grade and slope the existing road to ensure proper water drainage. C. General Requirements for Lots A & B 1. Successful offeror will provide all traffic control throughout the project to include signing and flagmen. 2. The successful offeror will dispose of all debris off-site. 3. Butt joints and transitions will be feathered in to ensure a smooth transition and proper drainage. All gravel driveway approaches shall have a two-foot (2') driveway tab. All hard-surfaced intersections shall be feathered in, a minimum of one (1) foot per inch of thickness of asphalt material. 4. New asphalt will be installed at a minimum of 2" thickness. Final surface will be smooth and compacted with no areas to allow proper drainage and not allow water to sit
