As of 7/17/2019 this project has not been awarded yet. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The County of San Diego (County) is seeking Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from Design-Build Entities (D-BE) qualified to design and construct the Urban Camp element of the Phased Replacement of the San Diego Juvenile Justice Campus (Project). The Urban Camp element represents the initial step in the Phased Replacement of the San Diego Juvenile Justice Campus will be located at 2840 Meadowlark Drive further identified as Assessor Parcel Numbers (APN) 425-550-32-00. In accordance with the provisions of Public Contract Code Sections 22160-22169, the County is utilizing a two-step process to prequalify, select and award a design-build contract. This is the first step in which the County is issuing this RFSQ. The County will evaluate and rank all conforming Submittals. Questions Due Thu., October 4, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. SOQs Due Wed., October 17, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. Qualifications Evaluation Committee evaluates SOQs October/November 2018 Interviews of highest-ranked teams Wed., October 31, 2018 through Fri., November 2, 2018 Notice of three (3) Qualified Firms Published December, 2018 Questions and requests for clarification related to definition or interpretation of this RFSQ shall be submitted in writing prior to 4:00 p.m. on the date shown. Questions MUST be submitted in writing via e-mail to Jose Sandoval at Jose.Sandoval@sdcounty.ca.gov. No questions will be accepted via telephone and oral explanations or instructions shall not be considered binding on behalf of the County.
