The work consists of rehabilitation of approximately 4,108 feet of 24-, and 30-inch diameter reinforced concrete pipe on the South Whittier Outfall Relief Trunk Sewer and the South Whittier Outfall Trunk Sewer with cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) liners. The project will also rehabilitate eleven (11) manholes with calcium aluminate cement coating, and all appurtenant work. The project comprises two (2) segments located in public right-of way within the City of Santa Fe Springs and Unincorporated Los Angeles County. One (1) segment is located in Carmenita Road beginning approximately 700 feet north of Cambridge Street in the City of Santa Fe Springs and ending at the intersection of Carmenita Road and Placid Drive in Unincorporated Los Angeles County. One (1) segment begins approximately 490 feet east of the intersection of Leffingwell Road and Meyer Road, then easterly on Leffingwell Road, then northerly on Coteau Drive, and ending approximately 180 feet north of Leffingwell Road in Unincorporated Los Angeles County. Bids are to be prepared in accordance with the Proposal Form, Plans, Special Provisions, Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction, 2015 Edition, complete with County Sanitation Districts of Los Angeles County's Amendments to the Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction, 2015 Edition, and any addenda issued by the District (collectively, the "Bid Documents"), which are on file in the Office of the Chief Engineer of the District, 1955 Workman Mill Road, Whittier, California, 90601.
