Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Edmonton, Alberta. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a 1,400-bed educational facility.
Plan calls for construction of 1,400-bed student residences within the Blatchford Lands area. The goal is to provide student housing that is inclusive, safe, convenient, and cost-effective. This approach involves a balance of shared community spaces, including spaces for programming, (e.g. study lounges, fitness centre, kitchen, and laundry) and unit mixes that allow for personal privacy. This project will include a mix of residential units with the appropriate amenities and services. TIMELINE: Project is in early stages. Purchase of the lands has been completed. Scope of work and timelines for design and construction are subject to funding approvals. Further update may be available spring 2027.
