The project will generally consist of the following at the signalized intersection of State Routes 18 and 318. Installation of radar-based stop bar vehicle detection system. Installation of an acoustic traffic signal preemption system for emergency vehicles. Each bid must be accompanied by proposal security in the form of a certified check, bank cashier's check, or bid bond in an amount equal to not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid price in accordance with provisions contained in the Instructions to Bidders section of the specifications. Proposal Security shall be made payable to the West Middlesex Borough. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) calendar days after date of opening. The West Middlesex Borough reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding.
