Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Hamilton, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

The Scope of Work consists of but is not limited to the following: - Demolition and removals work as specified and shown on the Contract Drawings; - Removal of lead based paint and the recoating of the pipes, valves and supports; - Replacement and modification of large diameter piping and valves within two valvehouses; - Replacement of sump pump and process piping within Valve Chamber 5; - Installation of new process electrical systems, instrumentation and controls including wiring; - Replacement of valves and actuators within buried chambers on the site and one chamber located within the traveled portion of the street; - Clean and inspection of drain lines; - Clean and inspection of large diameter concrete pressure pipe on the site; - Flushing and disinfection of on-site large diameter water mains; - Flushing and disinfection of long distances of two large diameter mains in the street; - Cleaning and disinfection of the four reservoir cells; - New electrical duct banks from the pumping station to each of the valve houses; - New electrical distribution panels within the valve houses; - New control panels in each of the valve houses; - Three new Wide Area Network (WAN) panels; and - Restoration, grading and landscaping. Bidders eligible to submit Bids for this Request for Tenders have been previously selected through the process of a Request for Prequalifications, issued under Contract C14-04-19 which closed on February 20, 2019.
