A conditional or unqualified Bid will be rejected. The Base Bid will include milling, resurfacing, pavement marking, ADA curb ramps, rolled curb and driveway approaches, in the following areas, with in the Town of Speedway; Crosley Lane, from Buick Drive to Desoto Lane, Buick Drive, from Cadillac Drive to Cunningham Road, Desoto Lane, Cadillac Drive to Cadillac Drive, Parkwood Drive, Schoolwood Drive to Maren Drive, Elaine Street, from Lanwdale Avenue to 30th Street, and Mobilization/Demobilization for all areas. The Project, which is funded from Town budgeted funds will be constructed in up to one (1) contract division. In general, the work consists of providing all labor and materials for resurfacing an asphalt concrete street. Checks shall be payable to "Kieser Consulting Group, LLC". Copies of any and all addenda which may be issued for this project shall be included with the purchased documents and shall be forwarded to all bid documents holders at their return street address. Bids must be submitted on the forms provided in the Bid Documents and shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the amount bid with satisfactory corporate surety or by a certified check on a solvent bank. The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of 100% of the Bid. Any Bid may be withdrawn prior to the scheduled closing time for receipt of Bids. All bids received shall remain valid and in force for 60 calendar days after the date of Bid opening. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids in whole or in part as specified in the solicitation when it is not in the best interest of the governmental body as determined by the purchasing agency in accordance with IC 5-22-18-2. The Owner also reserves the right to waive irregularities in any Bid, and to accept any Bid, which is deemed most favorable to the Owner.
