The Bid Form for 2019 Roadway Improvements, Contract No. 2 is available on its respective solicitation. Please submit all inquiries and questions via the Questions tab. Do not call or e-mail the architect or owner. Contract No. 1 - Pavement improvements work including roadway realignment work, asphalt milling and paving, base repairs, and mill and fill repairs. Additional work includes sanitary sewer manhole adjustments, miscellaneous storm sewer repairs, and guide rail installation. Bid results will be available via website by the close of business on Monday, April 15, 2019. NOTE: The Commissioners of Upper Allen Township have authorized C.S. Davidson, Inc., to act on their behalf by opening bids. Contracts will be awarded at a regularly scheduled meeting of Upper Allen Township. A bid bond by acceptable surety or a certified check made payable to Upper Allen Township in the amount of 5% of the maximum bid must be provided by each bidder with their bid. A pre-bid conference has not been scheduled. Each bidder must be prepared to submit evidence of his qualifications to perform the work. Notice is hereby given to bidders that only Contract No. 1 is subject to the provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act approved August 15, 1961 (Act No. 442, P.L. 987), as amended. Bidders should refer to federal and state statutes, rules and regulations dealing with the prevention of environmental pollution and the preservation of public and natural resources pursuant to PA Act No. 1972-247. The Contract Time for Contract No. 1 is one hundred twenty (120) calendar days and the Contract Time for Contract No. 2 is sixty (60) calendar days.
