This solicitation contains the Bid Form ONLY for the 2019 Roadway Improvements, Contract No. 2. All Project Documents, Addenda, and Questions and Answers are located within the solicitation titled 2019 Roadway Improvements, Contract No. 1. Please submit all inquiries and questions via the Questions tab within the 2019 Roadway Improvements, Contract No. 1 solicitation. Do not call or e-mail the design firm or owner. Contract No. 2 - Roadway preservation treatments including crack sealing and microsurfacing. OTE: The Commissioners of Upper Allen Township have authorized C.S. Davidson, Inc., to act on their behalf by opening bids. Contracts will be awarded at a regularly scheduled meeting of Upper Allen Township. A bid bond by acceptable surety or a certified check made payable to Upper Allen Township in the amount of 5% of the maximum bid must be provided by each bidder with their bid. A pre-bid conference has not been scheduled. Each bidder must be prepared to submit evidence of his qualifications to perform the work. Notice is hereby given to bidders that only Contract No. 1 is subject to the provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act approved August 15, 1961 (Act No. 442, P.L. 987), as amended. Bidders should refer to federal and state statutes, rules and regulations dealing with the prevention of environmental pollution and the preservation of public and natural resources pursuant to PA Act No. 1972-247. The Contract Time for Contract No. 1 is one hundred twenty (120) calendar days and the Contract Time for Contract No. 2 is sixty (60) calendar days. Upper Allen Township reserves the right to accept any bid or reject any or all bids.
