Site work for a water / sewer project in Hull, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
This Project consists of rehabilitation of the existing sewer system in the Atlantic Ave and Gunrock area using both trenchless and open cut excavation; and all materials and equipment, services and construction inherent to the Work. The Project being bid is subject to Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 30, Section 39M and prevailing wage rates as issued by the Director of the Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development, Department of Labor Standards under the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 149, Sections 26 to 27D inclusive, as amended, apply to this Project. The Project is funded in part with monies made available by the Clean Water State Revolving Fund (SRF) and is to be funded in part by the Massachusetts Clean Water Trust and compliance with EPA, MassDEP/DMS provisions and policies and Davis-Bacon Act and wage requirements is required. Disadvantaged Business Enterprise goals are applicable to the total dollars paid under the resulting construction Contract. The goals for this Project are a minimum of 4.20 percent D/MBE participation and 4.50 percent D/WBE participation by certified DBEs. Instructions for accessing the Bidding Documents will then be provided by email. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, including without limitation, nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced, or conditional Bids. Owner further reserves the right to reject the Bid of any Bidder whom it finds, after reasonable inquiry and evaluation, not to be responsible or eligible or not to meet the specified qualification or quality requirements, based on poor references or otherwise. Owner may also reject the Bid of any Bidder if Owner reasonably believes that it would not be in the best interest of the Project or the public to make an award to that Bidder. Owner also reserves the right to waive all informalities not involving price, time, or changes in the Work and to negotiate contract terms with the Successful Bidder.
