Location: Hull Project Type: Highway - Construction , Pavement Markings Federal Aid No.: STP-0035(009)X MASSDOT - Roadway Reconstruction and Related Work on Atlantic Avenue The participation goals for this project shall be 15.3% for minorities and 6.9% for women. DBE Participation Goal 16% The work under this Contract consists of the reconstruction of 1.3 miles of Atlantic Avenue from Nantasket Avenue to the Cohasset Town Line in Hull. Roadway improvements include roadway widening, full depth pavement reconstruction, pavement mill and overlay, installation of granite curbing, sidewalk reconstruction, reconstructing asphalt driveways, drainage pipe and structure installation, hydrant modifications, wetland restoration/ replication, installation of guardrail, traffic signs, pavement markings, and other appurtenances and incidental items as set forth in the proposal and required to complete the work. All work under this Contract shall be done in conformance with the 2021 Standard Specifications for Highways and Bridges, the Supplemental Specifications contained in this book, the 2017 Construction Standard Details, the Traffic Management Plans and Detail Drawings, MassDOT Work Zone Safety Temporary Traffic Control, the 1990 Standard Drawings for Signs and Supports; the 2015 Overhead Signal Structure and Foundation Standard Drawings, the 2009 Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) with Massachusetts Amendments; the 1968 Standard Drawings for Traffic Signals and Highway Lighting; The American Standard for Nursery Stock; the Plans and these Special Provisions. If the Contractor and the Department fail to agree on an equitable adjustment to be made under this Subsection, then the Contractor shall accept as full payment for the work in dispute an amount calculated using actual costs as provided in Subsection 9.03: Payment for Extra Work.
