The project is the expansion of a current training room into an adjacent space. In order to support the expansion, the necessary Information Technology (IT) and Electrical infrastructure needs to be in place which includes floor electrical outlets, horizontal Cat 6 data cable runs and connections from a communication closet to two (2) new Televisions/Monitors. This statement of work is designed to obtain the services, labor, materials, and equipment necessary to expand the training room. This Statement of Work delineates the various tasks and activities required to expand the existing training room. Contractor to conduct investigative work into the existing wall to verify that there is no plumbing inside the demising wall that will need to be accommodated and to cap off any power from proposed demolished wall. The contractor shall remove the wall between the current training room (G10) from the IT room (G12) to create one large training room. The orientation of the room will also be changed to accommodate the new footprint. The front of the room will be facing the two doors into the room. The podium location will be centered on the wall with the doors. Contractor to remove existing furniture in IT room. The contractor shall provide all labor, personnel, equipment, supplies, materials, supervision and other related supplies and services to run power and connect the Cat 6 data lines from the existing communications closet on the floor to the designated TV screens which location has been identified on the drawing incorporated as attachments. Additional furniture for the room will be purchased outside of this scope of work by VBA and installed by the furniture vendor. Questions due - July 19, 4:00 PM
