Site work, paving and new construction of a fitness / recreation center in South Burlington, Vermont. Design plans call for the construction of a fitness / recreation center; and for site work for a fitness / recreation center.
This project is included in the City of South Burlington's fiscal years 2024-2033 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). As of December 28, 2023, an architect has been selected and this project is in design. A firm timeline for construction has not been established; however, funding is allotted to fiscal year 2027. A detailed scope has not yet been released. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Includes multi-use courts, 1/4 turf field, support spaces The original solicitation is preserved below for reference. To provide professional design and construction administration services for a Recreational Facility proposed for South Burlington, Vermont. Design services to include the development and evaluation of potential alternative solutions and develop a design through the Schematic Design Phase of the preferred alternative initially. Subject to the approval of a Project by the City, the contract between the City and the Designer may be amended to include continued design services through design development, construction contract documents, bidding, award of construction contract(s), construction administration, and final closeout.
