Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in South Burlington, Vermont. Working plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
As of 02/23/2024 no bids were received. This project is located on the bridge on Queen City Park Road (QCPR) where it crosses over the Vermont Railways, Inc. (VTR) tracks within the City of Burlington, Vermont. The City seeks to employ the Contractor to remove and replace portions of the QCPR bridge rail, all the QCPR approach rail, and modify the QCPR crash rail. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals Questions shall be directed to the Municipal Project Manager (MPM): Madeline Suender , Associate Public Works Engineer ,msuender@burlingtonvt.gov 802-735-5324 The scope of the work consists of removing and replacing portions of the Queen City Park Road (QCPR) bridge rail, all approach rail, and modifications to the crash rail. This will include removing and replacing portions of the w-beam bridge and all of the bridge approach rail, removing and replacing the ends of the crash rail (steel angles) below the w-beam guardrail and installing terminal end sections to the new w-beam approach guardrails. The Contractor shall furnish all materials, supplies, tools, equipment, labor, and other services necessary for completion of the Work to the satisfaction of the City.
