Renovation of an educational facility in Morgantown, West Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The project consists of West Virginia University on behalf of its Board of Governors invites qualified Contractors to submit a bid to provide all labor, materials equipment, and services for the new Innovation Hub at ESB. The scope of work includes the creation of a new 1600 SF Electronics Lab, renovations to the West Wing corridors, restrooms, and Classroom G84 . Multiple vacant rooms and utilities will be demolished for the Electronics Lab. The HVAC system will be removed in many of the rooms and replaced with a new rooftop unit and distribution ductwork. The ceiling height in the main corridor will be raised. The Contractor shall be responsible for sufficiently raising all existing utilities above the current ceiling for this to happen. New rated aluminum and glass doors and partitions will be installed throughout the space. New finishes throughout. Two new flat metal canopies and additional wall pack lighting for an increase illumination for parking. Cutoff for Questions : Date: July 2, 2019 Time: 12:00 PM EST. Substantial Completion shall be no later than January 24, 2020. Final Completion shall be no later than February 19, 2020.
