The Work will consist of video inspection services (CCTV) of approximately 29,250 LF in the Borough of Wyomissing of (mostly 8") sanitary sewer mains, including traffic control, light/heavy cleaning and a video log with inspection report. In addition to the video services, the Work will consist of structural point-repairs, including cured-in-place pipe point repairs for 5 sanitary sewer mains in the Borough of Wyomissing. The Work will include cured-in-place pipe lining for 685 LF of 8" sanitary sewer mains. The bid must be accompanied by a Cashier's Check, Certified Check, or Bid Bond in the amount of Ten Percent (10%) of the bid, made payable to Borough of Wyomissing. Also required are a properly executed Bid Form, Certification Statement, Non-Collusion Affidavit, and Contractor's Qualification Statement. The successful bidder shall also be required to provide a Performance Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount within ten (10) calendar days of written notice of acceptance of the Bid. Bidders must conform to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act since the estimated construction costs of the project exceed $25,000. Bids will be publicly awarded on August 9, 2019 at 7:00 pm (local time) at the Wyomissing Borough Hall, 22 Reading Boulevard, Wyomissing, PA 19610. All Requests for Information shall be in written form and transmitted via PennBid to the attention of McCarthy Engineering, RE: 2019 Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation, by 2:00 pm July 5, 2019 to allow time to post an addendum on PennBid. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or to accept any portion of any bid, and to award Contracts as is deemed best for the Borough.
