Site work and paving for a road / highway in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
As of March 31,2022, the project was awarded to H&K Group, Inc., the awarded amount is $1,170,052.26. The work includes Cold In-place Recycling of Reading Blvd. from Clayton Ave. to Squire Ct., mill and overlay of Cardinal Rd., Garfield Ave., Hill Ave., fabric and overlay of Plymouth Ct., and double microsurfacing of Bern Rd., Bobolink Dr., Delaware Ave., Junco Dr., and Pheobe Dr. Work also includes vertical curb, rolled curb, tree plates, and paint markings. Also included in this scope of work is the reconstruction of 7 ADA ramps and 1 stormwater inlet. Bidders must conform to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act since the estimated construction costs of the project exceed $100,000. Bid Bond in the amount of Ten Percent (10%) of the bid, made payable to Wyomissing Borough. Also required are a properly executed Bid Form, Non-Collusion Affidavit, Certification Statement, and Contractors Qualification Statement. The successful bidder shall also be required to provide a Performance Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount within ten (10) calendar days of written notice of acceptance of the Bid.
