Renovation of a mixed-use development in Longwood, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The School Board of Seminole County is seeking a Construction Manager (CM) at Risk for the Gymnasium Replacement, Administration Building Minor Renovations, Central Energy Plant, and Fire Alarm System Upgrade at Milwee Middle School. The School is located at 1341 S. Ronald Reagan Blvd, Longwood, FL 32750 and was built in 1960. The Scope of Work will include preconstruction, construction of new (Schenkel Shultz Architect) prototype gymnasium of approximately 25,000 square feet, dressing rooms, and other support spaces, along with phased demolition of the existing gym, a new CEP, renovation to the Administration building to provide an improved entry and pedestrian route from the parking area to the building, and a campus wide improvement to the existing fire alarm system. This project will include site improvements that may require replacement of the existing outdoor track and possible adjustment to wetland area to accommodate the track. Shortlist Confirmed
