Seminole County is seeking a contractor to provide all labor, materials, transportations, coordination and incidentals necessary for the annual service pressure testing in accordance with NFPA 1962, 2018 Edition OR the latest adopted edition of NFPA 1962 at the time of testing. All the departments' hose shall be tested in one week (5 consecutive business days} or less. After the initial testing, the Contractor will return after the purchase of the replacement hose has been acquired by the department. Contractor will provide all the labor to unload apparatus, layout test, couple/uncouple, and roll hose. The Fire Department will provide labor to reload apparatus. When testing rack and/or palletized hose. the Contractor will unload and reload the rack and or pallet. The Department will provide a suitable test a location 350' in length, and the water supply via fire hydrant. The test site will be located at 203 Valentine Way Longwood, Florida, 32750. The vendor will be granted access to the site from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM. to accommodate the testing. Approximately 130,000 feet of hose will be tested annually. The testing site will be lighted from 6AM-10PM. The testing shall be done during the month of December. The month may change depending on department needs. There will not be a Pre-Proposal Conference for this IFB. Question Deadline 04/02/2025 at 4:00 PM ET Written requests shall be submitted via electronically. The COUNTY reserves the right to accept and make award to those Bidders, who in the opinion of the COUNTY, will be in the best interest of and/or the most advantageous to the COUNTY. The COUNTY reserves the right to reject all bids/proposals, make multiple awards (award to more than one vendor), make a partial award, to re-solicit and advertise for new bids/proposals, or to cancel the project in its entirety.
