Renovation of a civil project in Dane, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

The work under this Contract includes the replacement of wet-well pump controls and the back-up power system at the Village of Dane Main Sewerage Lift Station, 720 Capitol Drive, Dane, Wisconsin 53529. Work can be summarized as follows: 1. Demolition/removal of the existing standby engine, transfer switch, gas piping, exhaust piping, duct work and related equipment. 2. Demolition/removal of existing pump control panel. 3. Furnish and install a new minimum 60-kW, natural gas engine generator, automatic transfer switch, power distribution junction box, and natural gas supply line, exhaust piping, ductwork, monitoring control panel and related equipment. 4. Furnish and supply concrete pad for mounting generator. 5. Relocate and modify existing grinder control panel as per code requirements. 6. Furnish and install new pump control panel, new float switches and all pertinent conduits and connections into existing wet well. No proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least 5% of the amount bid, payable to the Owner as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within 15 days after the award of the contract. BIDDER is required to deliver the original certified check or bid bond within the 72 hours of bid opening to MSA Professional Services, Inc., Attn: Jill Benner, 1702 Pankratz St., Madison, WI 53704. The certified check or bid bond will be returned to the bidder as soon as the contract is signed, and if after 15 days the bidder shall fail to do so, the certified check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the Owner as liquidated damages.
