The work includes horizontally sawcut/grinding sidewalk to eliminate trip hazards at those locations designated by the Common Council, and as directed by the Engineer. Engineers Estimate $179,800 SBE GOAL 20% SBE Pre Bid Meeting Date 02/01/2024 Questions regarding SBE Program requirements may be directed to Tracy Lomax, Affirmative Action Division. In accordance with Wisconsin State Statutes 66.0901 (2) and (3), all bidders must submit to the Board of Public Works proof of responsibility on forms furnished by the City. The City requires that all bidders be qualified on a biennial basis. All bids, sealed or electronic, must be accompanied with a Bid Bond (City of Madison form) equal to at least 5% of the bid or a Certificate of Annual/Biennial Bid Bond or certified check, payable to the City Treasurer. Bid deposit of the successful bidders shall be returned within forty-eight (48) hours following execution of the contract and bond as required.
