Site work for a civil project in Dane, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and water / sewer project.
Stewart Road Culvert Replacement The Project includes the following Work: 200 LF of Town road reconstruction for storm water structure replacement including clearing and grubbing, removing existing structure, installation of a 72-inch CMP culvert with end sections, structure backfill, base aggregate, traffic control, riprap, geotextile fabric, salvaged topsoil and restoration. The anticipated substantial completion date is 20 calendar days following the start of construction and five additional calendar days for final completion or December 31, 2024 (Whichever comes first). No proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least 5% of the amount bid, payable to the Owner as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within 15 days after the award of the contract. The certified check or bid bond will be returned to the bidder as soon as the contract is signed, and if after 15 days the bidder shall fail to do so, the certified check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the Owner as liquidated damages. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The minimum wages to be paid on the project shall be in accordance with the wage rate scale established by local wage rates. Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
