Site work and paving for a civil project in Jonestown, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; and road / highway.
The project includes, but is not limited to, removal and replacement of two existing cast iron culverts. The northern 36-inch cast iron culvert shall be replaced with a new polymer coated metal pipe arch. The work also includes installation of gabion basket headwalls/wingwalls, pavement restoration, erosion and sediment pollution controls, and other associated work. The southern 48-inch cast iron culvert shall be replaced with a new aluminum structural plate low-profile box culvert with a corrugated invert plate. The work also includes installation of aluminum headwalls/wingwalls, pavement restoration, erosion and sediment pollution controls, other associated work. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check, bank cashier's check, trust company treasurer's check or bid bond (in the required form) for ten percent (10%) of the bid total. Questions shall be submitted Online. Union Township hereby reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all bidders, to reject any and all bids and to waive any omissions, errors, mistakes, defects or irregularities in any bid at its sole discretion.
