Site work and paving for a road / highway in Jonestown, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The work generally includes paving of a wearing course overlay and line painting along Plymouth Drive, Colony Drive and a section of Racehorse Drive. The work also includes mechanically stabilized full-depth reclamation, binder course paving and line painting along a section of Tomstown Road. Prevailing wage rates and record-keeping procedures established by Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry shall apply to the project. Union Township hereby reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all bidders, to reject any and all bids and to waive any omissions, errors, mistakes, defects or irregularities in any bid at its sole discretion. Overlay and Line Painting Work - Colony Drive, Plymouth Drive and Racehorse Drive. Full Depth Reclamation, Overlay and Line Paining Work - Tomstown Road See attached project location maps. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The project includes the installation of leveling/scratch course and 9.5mm superpave wearing course overlay on Colony Drive, Plymouth Drive and Racehorse Drive. Geotextile paving fabric shall be placed at locations where directed by the Township Engineer prior to installation of leveling/sratch course. Project also includes mechanically stabilized full-depth reclamation of existing asphalt on a section of Tomstown Road followed by installation of 19mm binder course. All newly paved roads shall be painted with white fog lines along outer edge of each traval lane and double yellow centerlines.
