Once approved by the Utilities Engineering Department, the Contract Administrator will send the Confidential Project Drawings to the Prospective Bidder. All existing WGWE utilities crossing the proposed storm drain main must be potholed. Locator devices, careful probing, vacuum, and hand methods of excavation shall be employed to determine the exact horizontal or vertical alignment of underground facilities. All exposed gas lines and electric facilities shall be inspected for damage by WGW Utilities and Electric Utilities Inspectors prior to backfill.
