Description of Project: This project is to remove existing roofs and install a new roofs at the Cubberley Community Center F & FH Wing, and it includes the following: 1) Remove abandoned HVAC equipment and abate HVAC ductwork, per asbestos report. 2) Remove existing base assemblies of all roof-mounted HVAC equipment and install crickets/drainage swales towards the roof gutters. 3) Remove existing corroded exhaust vents and replace with galvanized metal vent of same size, type, etc. 4) Remove all existing galv edge metal perimeter flashing with new and paint to match trim color. 5) Remove existing tar and gravel roof system down to existing plywood and replace with Tremco modified bituminous membrane roof over fiberboard over min. R-8 tapered rigid insulation and finished with Acrylic title 24 and CRRC Approved white or light coating through out the roof areas. 6) And additional miscellaneous items specified in the technical specifications and drawings Replace existing gutters with appropriately sized Kynar-finished gutters. Provide color samples to match existing fascia color. Provide and install galv. rain diverters below roof plies over each gutter end, as applicable. Diverters to prevent excess rainwater overflow over gutter ends. Install at all gutters at both sloped and flat roof areas: micro mesh gutter screens to cover gutter opening, by Gutterglove or approved equal.
