The specifications or scope of work included have been prepared to describe the standard quality, performance, and other characteristics needed to meet City requirements. The City will accept alternate proposals of a designed material, product, thing, service, or equal, and will determine if such alternate proposals are satisfactory in meeting a mandatory requirement or specification and if the proposed alternate meets the intent of the original mandatory requirement. Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment and transportation required. Bid security shall be submitted with the bid and shall be in the form of a certified check, cashier's check or surety bond in substantially the same form as specified in this RFQ.Within ten (10) business days of issuance of the Notice of Award, the selected Bidder shall furnish City a Performance Surety Bond, and Payment (Labor and Materials) Surety Bond. Both bonds shall be in the amount of 100% of the Contract Sum, and in accordance with requirements contained in the General Conditions of this RFQ.
