Site work, renovation and addition to a mixed-use development in Racine, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the addition of a educational facility; for the renovation of a educational facility; and for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
As of April 14,2025 construction is underway, a construction manager has been selected and this project is in the planning phase. Information regarding an architect has not been released. Construction is expected to complete in January of 2026. Bond fund $598 million of work over 30 years The referendum would provide the funding needed to make the following improvements at Fratt: SAFETY & SECURITY: • Create new secure entrance and office for improved parent access • Replace fire alarm, clock, video and PA systems LEARNING SPACES: • Reconfigure existing office into Classroom • Repurpose existing gym for Music and STEM lab • Replace coat hooks with cubbies BUILDING ADDITIONS: • Build new gymnasium and student support offices • Add new playground, offices and receiving area INFRASTRUCTURE: • Refresh building interiors (LED lighting, flooring, ceilings, casework, paint walls) • Address building maintenance (doors, roofing, HVAC updates, exterior masonry and concrete, retro-commissioning) The 2020 bond referendum was passed and approved by the voters on April 7, 2020.
