Renovation of a detention facility in Racine, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
In general, the work consists of:security improvements to the front lobby of the institution. This will include construction of a new ballistic resistant officer's station, administrative entrance hardening and upgrades to the lobby and entrances to meet ADA Requirements. Trades include General and Electrical. This work is located within a secure setting. All potential bidders must be certified by DOA prior to submitting bids on state construction projects over $100,000. All bids received from contractors who are not certified will be rejected. Bid Guarantee in the amount of 10% of the Bid must accompany each bid submitted.
