Remodeling of a municipal facility in Madison, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the remodel of a 3,980-square-foot, three-story above grade municipal facility.
In general the work consists of: Interior remodeling to 3 rd , 4 th , 5 th , floors of an existing office building. Limited changes to existing partitions, lights, grilles and ceilings. Construction of new drywall partitions to create new rooms and hallways. Relocation of lights, diffusers, fire alarms, and devices to accommodate the new layout. HVAC testing and balancing of 3 floors. The 2017-2019 Wisconsin State Budget (2017 Wisconsin Act 59) repealed Wisconsin's prevailing wage laws. Effective September 23, 2017, state prevailing wage requirements on state building projects no longer apply. These changes take effect for projects advertised for bid after September 23, 2017. This change does not affect the Federal Davis Bacon Act requirements. *This project is on hold due to the public health crisis. A new timeline has not been established. *This project timeline has been extended due to the public health crisis.
