Renovation of a mixed-use development in Madison, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility; and water / sewer project.
In general the work consists of: The provision and installation of a steam pressure reducing station and associated piping and appurtenances. Piping to be installed includes steam, condensate, and instrument air piping. The work includes supply and installation of pipe supports and pipe insulation. The work also includes installation of instruments and control wiring to the pressure reducing valve pneumatic actuator. All work will be performed at the Mendota Mental Health Institute. The 2017-2019 Wisconsin State Budget (2017 Wisconsin Act 59) repealed Wisconsins 49 prevailing wage laws. Effective September 23, 2017, state prevailing wage requirements 50 on state building projects no longer apply. These changes take effect for projects 51 advertised for bid after September 23, 2017. This change does not affect the Federal 52 Davis Bacon Act requirements
