Site work and paving for a civil project in Madison, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The Division of Facilities Development, hereinafter termed DFD, hereby announces that it is advertising for bids from certified contractors for the above project. In general the work consists of: Drainage improvements at the Air Services Hangar Buildings, including installation of a gutter and down system along one side of the hanger building, storm sewer, stone trench and drain tile installation and minor concrete and asphalt paving repairs. The 2017-2019 Wisconsin State Budget (2017 Wisconsin Act 59) repealed Wisconsins prevailing wage laws. Effective September 23, 2017, state prevailing wage requirements on state building projects no longer apply. These changes take effect for projects advertised for bid after September 23, 2017. This change does not affect the Federal Davis Bacon Act requirements. No pre-bid meeting is scheduled for this project.
