The Town of Salem is inviting contract proposals for the Salem Depot - Building Demolition Project on Route 28 in the Town of Salem, New Hampshire. After placing payment in the drop box, please email the Purchasing Agent at cawholley@salemnh.gov to leave notification of the payment and coordinate pickup or delivery of the bidding documents. If you would like the bidding documents mailed to you please provide your mailing address and UPS or FedEx account number in your email to the Purchasing Agent. The drawings, general provisions, specifications and proposal may be examined at the following locations (check with them relative to access to their plan room and/or electronic postings) Each bid must be accompanied by BID SECURITY, payable to the Town of Salem, in the amount of Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00), which BID SECURITY must be in a form of a certified treasurer's or cashier's check or bid bond. Performance and Payment Securities in the total amount of the contract, or in such lesser amounts as the Town of Salem shall, at its sole option require, in a form acceptable to the Town of Salem shall be required to guarantee the faithful performance of the contract and the payment of all labor and materials used in the work. Each bid shall be submitted on the Bid Form supplied by the Town of Salem in a sealed envelope clearly identified with the Bidders name and address marked. The Town reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any technical or legal deficiencies that it may deem to be in the best interest of the Town.
