For Collection System Spot Repairs Collection System Spot Repairs consists of approximately fifteen (15) spot repairs on 6-inch VCP and 8-inch VCP sanitary sewers including manhole connections, lateral connections, and street restoration in various locations throughout the Meadville Area Sewer Authority collection system. Each bid must be accompanied by proposal security in the form of a certified check, bank cashier's check, or bid bond in an amount equal to not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid price in accordance with provisions contained in the "Instructions to Bidders" section of the specifications. Proposal Security shall be made payable to the Meadville Area Sewer Authority. Bidders or vendors requesting next day, or special mailing will be responsible for all mailing or shipping charges. Addenda, if any, will be issued to only those persons or companies who have purchased a full set of contract documents. Contractors must comply with the PA Prevailing Wage Rate Determinations, as specified in the Contract Documents. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) calendar days after date of opening. The Meadville Area Sewer Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to accept or reject any item or combination of items contained in any bid and to waive any irregularities in conjunction therewith.
