Renovation of a municipal facility in Ottawa, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The Ministry of the Attorney General is in the process of refreshing the audio-visual equipment in courtrooms 11 and 12 and their attached testimony rooms at the Ottawa Courthouse. The currently installed equipment is aging and does not have proper infrastructure in place. This project aims to put in place the infrastructure required to facilitate the update of the AV equipment by others in the noted courtrooms. Soundproofing measures are also being installed in the Remote Testimony Rooms for each courtroom to reduce the sound transfer between these rooms and the courtrooms themselves. All disruptive work is to be completed between the hours of 5pm and 8am. Non-disruptive work can be completed during regular hours. Owner requires that all interested parties sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) in order to access the plans and specs for this project.
