Debris Monitoring Services. The county's purchasing policy can be viewed at the county's website by following the appropriate links from the homepage address set forth above. If a prospective bidder is in doubt whether this solicitation requires a bid bond, such prospective bidder is solely responsible for making appropriate inquiry. No other notice will be posted. Prospective bidders are notified that the failure to include within the sealed bid envelope, a proper bid bond or other security approved under the county's purchasing policy, if required for this solicitation, or the failure to file a written petition initiating a formal protest proceeding within the times and in the manner prescribed in section 8. (n), of said policy, shall constitute a waiver of the right to protest the bid solicitation, any addendum thereto, or the bid decision, as applicable, and to initiate a formal protest proceeding under said policy. A person or affiliate who has been placed on the convicted vendor list following a conviction for a public entity crime may not submit a bid on a contract to provide any goods or services to a public entity, may not submit a bid on a contract with a public entity for the construction or repair of a public building or public work, may not submit bids on leases of real property to a public entity, may not be awarded or perform work as a contractor, supplier, subcontractor, or consultant under a contract with any public entity, and may not transact business with any public entity in excess of the threshold amount provided in Section 287. The County reserves the right to waive formalities in any bid, to reject any or all bids with or without cause, including the lack of availability of adequate funds, regulatory agency requirements, and/or to accept the bid that, in its judgment, will be in the best interest of the County of Clay.
