The mission of the Purchasing Department is to provide fair and equitable treatment of all persons involved in public purchasing by the County, to maximize the purchasing value of public funds in procurement, and to provide safeguards for maintaining a procurement system of quality and integrity. The Clay County Board of County Commissioners (County) is requesting bids from licensed Contractors for inspection services for the County's Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Entitlement Program. Clay County, Florida is a CDBG Entitlement recipient that has received funds through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to provide low- to moderate-income individuals decent housing and suitable living conditions through the use of grant funds. Services for this portion of the program shall be for eligible applicants to receive an allocation for owner-occupied rehabilitation using CDBG funds.
