The Clay County Board of County Commissioners (County) is seeking informal quotes from a qualified Supplier to provide and deliver expansion of an existing Protective Structure for Boat Storage to the following location: 1300 N Orange Avenue ~ Green Cove Springs, Florida A. Obtain necessary permits following the permit & fees instructions within this bid B. Form and pour 10x24 concrete slab with footer, 6" thickness with broom finish to extend existing concrete C. Remove and reinstall existing fence where concrete will be extended D. Supply and install 24'W x 40'L x 13'H galvanized carport structure with metal on sides - color green, with open design E. Roof style - A Frame with open gable ends F. Install structure on existing concrete Existing structure to be removed by Clay County Sheriff's Office The County reserves the right to approve all subcontractors for this contract. If subcontractors are to be utilized, the subcontractors must possess an active and valid license issued by the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation in the appropriate category. Subcontractors may be added during the contract period only with PRIOR WRITTEN PERMISSION from the County, and only for reasonable cause, as judged by the County. Responsibility for the performance of the contract remains with the main Contractor exclusively. The Contractor is responsible for anything damaged due to the direct result of installation or construction. Remove all debris from site and dispose of appropriately at Contractor expense. If property (public or private) is damaged while Contractor is performing work specified or is removed for the convenience of the work, it shall be repaired or replaced at the expense of the Contractor in a manner acceptable to the County prior to the final acceptance of the work. Contractor will be responsible for applying and securing any permits that may be required to complete such repairs. Contractor must provide protection necessary to prevent damage to property being repaired or replaced. Final completion must be obtained by sixty (60) days from the Notice to Proceed. Liquidated Damages The Contractor shall be assessed Liquidated Damages (LD) of $100.00 for each day past the final completion date set in the Notice to Proceed.
