Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a library in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the addition of a library; for the demolition of a library; for the renovation of a library; and for site work for a library.
The project scope includes an addition of approximately 1,150 SF and interior alterations to the existing Library. All questions must be submitted in writing via email to hindermyer@vitetta.com. A pre-bid meeting is not scheduled. Each bid proposal shall be accompanied by a Bidder's Bond, certified check or cashier's check, made payable to the County of Union County, in the amount of not less than 10 percent of the bid. The County reserves the right to waive any informality in a submission and to accept or reject any and all bids. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 60-days, with the right to extend that time to 120 days if additional time is needed. Bidders must submit with their bid the Non-Collusion Affidavit contained in the contract documents. The contract documents contain requirements addressing prevailing labor wage rates, labor standards and non-discrimination in hiring practices. Prevailing wages established under the State Prevailing Wage Act apply. The project is subject to all applicable provisions of the respective Act subject to all applicable provisions and the bid shall be prepared accordingly. The applicable wage determinations are included in the contract documents. Tentative award is schedule for July 21, 2020.
