*This project was originally scheduled to bid on Aug 06, 2020. Now has been extended to Aug 20, 2020* This project is to replace the City of Tamarac's existing finished water meter located within the Water Plant property at 7803 NW 61st Street. The scope of work for the project includes, but is not limited to the following: A) Removal of existing underground yard piping no longer in service; or as needed to provide space to facilitate finished water metering improvements. B) New finished water meter installation complete with magnetic flow meter, precast concrete access vault, bypass piping, and applicable isolation valves. C) New onsite potable water service piping connection from upstream of new meter installation to existing onsite process water distribution connection point. D) Removal of existing finished water meter within existing meter vault. E) Modifications to existing fluoride injection point to relocate the access point to a near grade level location for improvement of maintenance accessibility. F) Connect new meter to existing plant SCADA network. All proposed improvements shall be completed in accordance with the project bid documents, design plans, details, technical specifications and all applicable federal, state, county, and local regulatory requirements. 2 Question Deadline: August 12,2020 at 5:00 OM.
