Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Tamarac, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a sidewalk / parking lot; for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Scope includes includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, components, services, incidentals incidentals including, but not limited to the silt fence, pot holing, pipe assemblies, flow tube meter assembly, sump pump, thrust collars, trench support, line stops, tapping sleeves and vales, piping, fittings, fencing, asphalt, sidewalk, valve vault, pipe supports, electrical, control panels and Remote Telemetry Units (RTUs), antenna, base station receiver system, component testing and start-up services. The Work also includes all the associated civil and site work, project controls, verification field survey, and appurtenant work required for a complete and operable system. The meter sites have been divided into six groups. The County will bid one site under this bid. The work shall be performed at 6601 Southgate Blvd. Tamarac, FL 33321. This solicitation includes participation goals for Broward County certified County Business Enterprises. Refer to Special Instructions and the Office of Economic and Small Business Development Requirements section for additional information. One Investment Program applies to this contract. Refer to Workforce Investment Program Requirements section for additional information. In order to be considered a responsive and responsible Vendor for the scope of work set forth in this solicitation, the Vendor must possess a specified license at the time of submittal (refer to Special Instructions for requirements). Each submittal shall be accompanied by a bid guaranty in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid amount (refer to Bid Guaranty, Performance and Payment Guaranties, and Qualifications of Surety Requirements). The solicitation includes pass- thru allowances. It is not necessary to add bid allowance amounts into your bid prices. BidSync will automatically add the allowance amounts indicated to your bid total and will be reflected on final bid tabulation.The County provides a specified time for Vendors to ask questions and seek clarification regarding the requirements of the solicitation.
