Site work for a water / sewer project in Santa Cruz, California. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
**As of 8/19/2020 Project start date will be sometime in 2 months from now . The work to be done, in general, consists of removing existing sanitary sewer pipe abandoning existing sewer manholes and construction a new sewer manhole. Additionally, work will include installation of pipe adapters, sections of new sewer pipe, replacement of selected manhole frames and covers, modification of existing manholes, installation and re- connection of residential sanitary sewer laterals, and restoration of surrounding pavement and traffic striping. Engineer's Estimated Cost: $550,000 to $800,000 Pre-Qualification for Bidders: Not Required Project Duration: 60 Calendar Days Liquidated Damages: $1,000.00 Per Calendar Day Bid Bond Percentage: 10% Technical questions regarding the plans and specifications shall be directed to Steve Wolfman, Senior Civil Engineer, at 831-420-5428. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Labor and Material Bond in the amount equal to one hundred (100) percent ofthe contract price, and a Faithful Performance Bond in an amount equal to one hundred (100) percent ofthe contract price, said bonds to be issued by a corporate surety company approved by the City Attorney
