The Town of Williston is soliciting established Landscaping and Property Management Companies for the Seasonal Maintenance of the Town's 4 cemeteries. This project consists of spring, summer and fall maintenance which includes: 1) Generally, from beginning of May so that Cemeteries are ready for May 15th opening through leaf drop in Fall. 2) Mowing as needed to keep the property in good condition with a grass length of 3” throughout the season outlined above. Mowing to be accomplished at least weekly but may need to be done more often during the growing season, usually between end of May to mid-August. The amount of mowing is at the discretion of the Director of Public Works or his/her representative. 3) Weed whacking to include along all fence lines inside and out and around all monuments and markers. 4) General Maintenance to keep property in good order. 5) Gathering and disposal of leaves before winter. 6) Removal and disposal of any debris. 7) Contractors to make themselves aware of the “Cemetery Regulations” and should pay particular attention to Section III. This document is available on the Town of Williston Web Site. 8) Contractor to report any damaged headstones/markers to Public Works after each mowing This work will be completed between as per the timeline in Scope of Work. The amount of budgeted funds available for this work is $14,000 to $18,000. The selection will be based on review and evaluation of quotes received. Also, but not limited to the following criteria: Experience and success of past projects and at least 5 years of relevant experience. Demonstration of knowledge of the project and related issues. Clarity of the quote and thoroughness in addressing the scope of work All bids upon submission become the property of the Town of Williston. The Town reserves the right to reject any or all bids received, to negotiate with any qualified source. This solicitation in no way obligates Williston to award a contract All quotes must be received by the Town no later than 4:00 p.m. on March 30, 2022.
