License Requirements Class A Online Q&A Yes Q&A Deadline: November 30, 2020 1:00 PM (Pacific) Type of award: Lump Sum The Department of Public Utilities, Energy Delivery Division of the City of Riverside is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to install 69 kV pole line and underground facilities on the Riverside Reliability Project (RTRP). The project will include installing wood and steel poles, string overhead conductors, transferring third party attachments and removing abandoned lines and equipment along RTPP route. The project will also include the installation of one half (.5) miles of underground cable and terminations, along with replacement of fencing and repairing temporary-repairs to streets and sidewalks. CONTRACT FORMS: Performance Bond Payment Bond General and/or Automobile Liability Additional Insured Endorsement Sample Agreement Workers' Compensation Certification Certificate of Corporation/Joint Venture/Partnership Non-Collusion Declaration Contractor Customer Service Standards Acknowledgment IRAN Contracting Affidavit All prospective bidders submitting a bid package must be on the Prospective Bidder's List for that bid. If the bidder is not listed on the Prospective Bidder's List then the bid package will be declared non-responsive and given no further consideration. The Final day for receipt of questions from Contractors shall be on or before 11/30/20. To ensure fairness and avoid misunderstandings, all communications must be in the format noted above. Any verbal communications will not be considered or responded to. All questions received by the due date will be logged and reviewed and if required, a response will be provided via an addendum to the Bid that will be posted on the City's website. Any communications, whether written or verbal, with any City Council member or City staff other than the individual indicated above, prior to award of a contract by City Council, is strictly prohibited and the Contractor shall be disqualified from consideration. All bids must be accompanied by a cashier's check or approved bid bond in the amount of 10% of the proposed contract price which must also be uploaded by the due date and time. If Bid guarantee is in the form of a Cashier's Check, it must be delivered to the Purchasing Manager at the City of Riverside's Purchasing Dept. 3900 Main Street, Riverside, CA 92522 before the bid due date and time. Bidders shall, as part of their bid, furnish a summary listing and descriptions of five similar type construction successfully completed under contract (as the Prime) in the most recent five year period including for each project the name of owner, initial contract price, and the name, telephone number, email address and address of the owner's contact person. "Similar type construction" shall mean installation of electrical conduit and underground structures including retrofitting existing electrical structures. The successful bidder will be required to furnish performance and payment bonds equal to the contract amount and insurance as described in the contract document.
