**Project has been awarded but award amount has not been confirmed.** No Bid may be withdrawn after the time established for receiving bids or before the award and execution of the Contract, unless the award is delayed for a period exceeding sixty (60) calendar days. Bids shall be executed in accordance with the instructions given and forms provided in the Contract Documents furnished by the County of El Dorado, Department of Transportation through Electronically. The Proposal including the Bidder's Security shall be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked: "Proposal for Guardrail Upgrades Tahoe Project" CIP NO. 72198, CONTRACT NO. 4576 TO BE OPENED AT 2:00 P.M. ON AUGUST 11, 2020. The Project is located along multiple roads in South Lake Tahoe in the County of El Dorado, including Lake Tahoe Blvd, View Circle, Pioneer Trail, and Martin Ave. Work to be done is shown on the Plans, and generally consists of, but is not limited to: Reconstruction/upgrades to existing metal beam guardrail. Improvements include removal and replacement with Midwest Guardrail Systems, installation of new Terminal Ends, and adjustment of existing Double Thrie Beam Barriers. Other items or details not mentioned above, that are required by the Plans, Standard Plans, Standard Specifications, or these Special Provisions must be performed, constructed or installed. Bids are required for the entire Work described herein. The Contract time shall be TWENTY-EIGHT (28) WORKING DAYS. For bonding purposes the anticipated total project cost is less than $412,000. Interested parties may view the Contract Documents, including the Project Plans, on the portal at no charge. To be included on the planholders list, receive notification of addenda, and to be eligible to bid interested parties must download the Contract Documents, including the Project Plans, from portal. Those downloading the Contract Documents, including the Project Plans, assume responsibility and risk for completeness of the downloaded Contract Documents.
